The Design Concept
The BMW R12 is born with an inherent elegance—a retro, gentlemanly character. The R12 "THUG" takes this foundation and embodies the core philosophy of "an elegant exterior, a ruthless soul."
By integrating OEM parts from various BMW models, DKdesign has preserved the factory premium texture while sculpting a much more aggressive body stance. This build perfectly showcases the incredible versatility of the BMW R12 platform.
Craftsmanship & Details
Front End & Control: Aggressive bull handlebars paired with custom-machined risers, a retro short front fender, and a custom oil cooler guard featuring seamlessly integrated hidden front turn signals.
Body & Silhouette: An R12 nineT Tracker seat with a sleek rear cowl, a custom-designed heavy-duty engine skid plate, and a custom tail-tidy kit with an integrated taillight and license plate bracket.
Performance & Stance: Rugged R12G/S spoked wheels (21-inch front / 17-inch rear) wrapped in Maxxis Maxxventure MT Tires, powered by a DNA STAGE 3 Air Filter Kit and Japan's premium R's gears titanium headers flowing into a signature slash-cut megaphone muffler. The ultimate handling is delivered by a GEARS Racing × DKdesign co-branded "Double-Headed" rear shock, all unified under a complete MTR stealth black-out treatment and premium BMW Option 719 accessories.
