2026 DKdesign Custom Project R12M

Built upon the BMW R12 nineT, the R12M project is a bespoke creation tailored to the client’s vision. Centered around BMW’s iconic boxer engine, it reinterprets the balance between heritage and performance.

The design preserves the purity of classic mechanical lines while integrating a modern customization DNA—transforming the idea of “classic” from a static memory into a machine that continues to evolve on contemporary roads.

Inspired by a tribute to BMW M, the color scheme features subtle blue, violet, and red striping flowing across the bodywork, representing its racing heritage and engineering precision. The gold front forks, paired with AC forged lightweight wheels and an extended 200-width rear tire, enhance the bike’s visual tension while sharpening its retro silhouette with a modern performance edge.

On the performance side, a refined Öhlins suspension setup is introduced, combined with a shortened body configuration to improve support and rider feedback. The overall proportions and balance are carefully optimized to achieve a cleaner, more aggressive stance. Together with the wider rear tire, this results in a riding experience that is more direct and pure.

Strictly speaking, this is more than a retro custom build—it is a fusion of BMW M spirit, modern handling, and refined craftsmanship, redefining the soul of the R12 nineT.
